The Role: Teaching one or more of the 14 EASA ATPL ground subjects to a class of trainees aspiring to become airline pilots.
Key duties will include, but not be limited to:
Teach a range of EASA technical subjects to students enrolled on the JetWay, Fast Track & Internship programs;
Prepare and motivate students so they can achieve personal high standards by setting and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times;
Monitor and report on trainee progress;
Provide guidance and support to individual trainees;
Maintain accurate course records as applicable.
Successful Applicants will have:
An all-round knowledge of all EASA ATPL subjects;
Detailed knowledge of those subjects which you will teach;
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact well with trainees;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
International outlook with the ability to deal comfortably with various cultures;
Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Strong organisational and customer service skills;
Ability to deal with people in a polite and friendly manner;
Hours of work: Depending on full or part time, class teaching hours per day/week will vary but will not be less than 4/20.
Additional information: Applications will only be accepted from individuals who either have the right to live and work in the USA, or whom will qualify, by virtue of their qualifications, experience and background, to be granted an appropriate working visa which will be sponsored by the company.
Experienced FAA qualified ground instructors or aviation teachers may also apply but must be willing to acquire the necessary knowledge of the EASA Learning Objectives.
Compensation: Will be in line with market conditions and commensurate to an individual’s qualifications and experience.
