MODULAR

COURSES

Modular flight training is the term given to training that can be taken in sections or modules.

This gives you the flexibility to tailor different training options to fit your personal circumstances, time availability, budget, and licence requirements.

You may choose to enroll on any one module or combination of modules.

At European Flight Training, we have seen many customers choose this option, usually for budget and work commitment reasons, and it is not uncommon for the training to be split over several consecutive years. For example the PPL and time building in the first year, ATPL grounds school in the second year and finally the CPL/IR in a third year. The initial licence required is the Private Pilots Licence which students complete as their first course usually followed by some hours building. Once students have obtained their PPL licence, they can commence the Airline Transport Pilot License ground school which prepares them fully for the ATPL ground exams. Once these exams are passed and the appropriate prerequisites completed you may commence the CPL and IR.

Of course if you only want to train for a PPL, or at least you think this at the start, then that’s the only commitment you need to make – you can always change your mind later and come back for more!

Naturally, if you are already qualified as a PPL, we can accept you for just the additional qualifications, for example the ATPL Ground, CPL/IR and so on, so don’t think there are any restrictions to when you can start with us. The only thing to bear in mind is that certain regulatory requirements will be a factor, so it is important you seek advice from our experienced staff so you enroll on the right course at the right time.

Whatever your needs are we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Please bear in mind, even if you just want to train for a PPL, the school applies the same policies, principles, and high standards of instruction.

This also encompasses disciplinary procedures, dress code, and professional conduct which we expect all students and instructors to uphold.

Flight Schools

European Flight Training started in 1999 as an aviation school offering EASA Flight Training in Florida and has developed into one of the most prestigious aviation flight schools in the United States.

European Flight Training offers, through its parent company Aviator College, an Aviation Degree Program which has specific emphasis on the pilot training aspects needed to meet the requirements of the commercial airline pilot industry.

EFT is one of the few flight schools in the USA to offer approved training for the European pilot’s license, zero through ATPL, at its approved EASA ATO number 0008.
